Holi Is One Of The Anncient Festival Of India . This Is Also Known As Fesyival Of Colours.

In The Barsana Village This Festival Is Celebrated In The Traditional Way As The Lord Krishna Used To Do. Barsana Is The Birth Land Of Lord Krishna Beloved Radha. According To Hindu Mythology It is Said That Lord Krishna Used To Play Pranks With Radha And Her Friends.At The Time  Of  Holi Lord Krishna Used To Put Dark Colors On The Faces Of Radha And Her Friends.

On This Occassion Boys Of Nandgaon , Mathura Come To Play Holi With The Women And Girls Of Barsana And Girls Of Barsana Welcome Them By The Stout Sticks To Beat Them.

This Year This Festival Is Celeberated On 21st March 2013 and 22nd March 2013 At Radha Rani Temple.

One of New Delhi’s most popular and famous events, the two-day festival will celebrate the king of all tropical fruit, the ubiquitous Indian mango fruit. It is a brilliant opportunity to taste the eleven hundred varieties of mangoes for free during this event at the Dilli Haat and relish the everlasting delicious experience. The entire place is constructed in the form of a traditional market place. Everything is about mangoes. The festival features an array of competitions, dancing and plenty of mangoes to go around. Host of people selling arts, crafts and specialty foodstuffs, is turned over almost exclusively to the humble fruit, in its many shapes and forms. Come here to know about the traditional mangoes like Langda, Dasheri, Alphonso, Fasli, Bombay Green, Sindheri, Chausa, along with the new hybrid discoveries.

2. Quiz for Children on “Itra & Sugandhi”
3. Live demonstration of rose water distillation.
4. Art of “Agarbatti and Dhoopbatti making”.
5. Sale and practical, demonstration of “Kuppi” making.
6. Sale and display of perfumes, itra and essential oil.
7. Competition of Itra, Sugandhi, wooden boxes and velvet boxes used for Itra and Sugandhi and Presentation of perfumes in traditional bottles.

This event is held in famous “Dilli Haat”  Pritampura Delhi.
